Rhonda Fossum (Brown)

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Fine Arts Chair/Choral Director/ Artistic Director & Founder of Johns Creek Players
Comment: I wish I could attend.  I start teaching in the first week of August :-(  I will probably not be able to attend in the future unless the coordinators find a way to have it on one of the weekends surrounding Frontier Days.   Just a thought:-)

I wish all of you the best!  I live in Atlanta (a city in a forest) with my Husband of 28 years and our dog named Snowball:-)  I have been teaching for 27 years with a few years off for babies.  I still love my job, as a Choral Music Educator & Artistic Director /Founder of Johns Creek Players.  I coached high School swimming for 26 years, and stopped to protect my voice. I really miss coaching.

I have two sons.  My oldest son, Chris is a corporate executive that lives in Chicago &  coaches college football on the side. I gained a beautiful daughter when Chris got married.  My youngest son, Dustin was an angel on earth that became an angel in heaven near his 2nd birthday.

When I grow up (or retire) I want to gig as an acoustic Jazz Bass Player.  When I was a youngster (out of college for about 10 years) I performed off and on as a a lead vocalist with a jazz band for fun. And finally,  I have served as a minister of music & worship for much of my adult life.

I wish all of you the best!  Enjoy catching up and laughing together about life back when . . . "because I knew you, I have been changed for good"  from the musical WICKED.

Comment: Jane and I have been traveling. Christmas vacation in D.C. No politicians! Photo safari in Alaska. I only took 1400 pictures. ATVs in Moab. Family in Dallas. This fall we will be in New York City. Next year, perhaps a return to Alaska.

After running the family ranch for 34 years, I have decided to retire. I don't know if it will be in ten years or 30, but sometime. Maybe.

The worst assignment I could get in high school was to write. Now I write (humorous?) articles about life on the ranch. Look for my book, due to be published in about ten years. Or after I retire. Tales From The High Tech Cowboy.

I would love to come to the 40th reunion in July and will try to make it happen. It's been great to see what everyone has been up to. Stay in touch.
